Chocolate Fondues by Juliette & Chocolat
Warm melted chocolate, in a little pot at the center of the table, with fruits, brownie chunks, marshmallows, and biscuits all around for dipping… there are few happier moments. Our chocolate fondues are made for those moments: handcrafted, in small batches, at our Chocolate Atelier in Greenfield Park, on Montréal's South Shore.
Our fondues
- Dark Chocolate Fondue 55% Rich, intense, deep. For cocoa purists.
- Milk Chocolate Fondue 33% Creamy, smooth, neither too bitter nor too sweet. The fondue everyone agrees on.
- White Chocolate Fondue Our sweetest, both rounded and delicate. For real sweet tooths.
- Milk Chocolate and Peanut Fondue For lovers of the classic chocolate-peanut pairing. Silky, indulgent, melts quickly.
How to prepare them
It's simple:
- Place the closed pot in a saucepan of simmering water (bain-marie) for about 20 minutes.
- Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, remove the pot.
- Serve immediately, while it's warm and flowing.
Tip: to keep the fondue warm while you're tasting, place the pot on a fondue burner, or pour it into a small chocolate fountain.
What to dip
Just about anything works in a fondue. A few suggestions:
- Fresh fruit: strawberries, banana slices, pineapple, kiwi, apple, grapes, pear.
- Brioche, cookies, waffles: cut into cubes or wedges for easy dipping.
- Brownie cubes or pieces of warm brownie.
- Marshmallows, store-bought or homemade.
- Crisp cookies, shortbread, langues-de-chat.
- Scoops of vanilla ice cream: warm fondue meets cold ice cream, the effect is magical.
Or, let's be honest, by the spoonful, straight from the pot, in front of the TV. We don't judge.
For what occasion
Cozy night in, family brunch, gathering with friends, Valentine's Day, kids' birthday party, or simply a craving on a Sunday evening: chocolate fondue always hits the spot.
Handcrafted at our Atelier
Our fondues are handcrafted, in small batches, at our Chocolate Atelier in Greenfield Park, on Montréal's South Shore, from simple ingredients: fine Belgian chocolate, cream, and depending on the recipe, peanuts or other inclusions.
