In a small saucepan, warm 250 ml milk or water, to your taste (water will bring out the cocoa flavour while milk makes your hot chocolate into a velvety smooth drink), and add 1 portion of chocolate powder. Slowly bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. Serve very hot with your morning toast and jam, or with cake and marshmallows for a devilishly sweet treat.

This recipe can also be prepared in ahead of time; refrigerate it and whip it with ice for a frosty treat!
