Drinking Chocolates — Juliette & Chocolat
Juliette & Chocolat and hot chocolate: it’s a whole story!
Juliette Brun, the creator of Juliette & Chocolat, explains:
“When I opened Juliette & Chocolat, one of my inspirations was to put a truly good hot chocolate on the market. I don’t drink coffee, so as a student, when I went to study in a café, I’d order a hot chocolate—and I was always disappointed! It wasn’t real chocolate, more like water with a little cocoa. So for Juliette & Chocolat, I worked on my version of hot chocolate: a drinking chocolate so rich and thick you’d feel like a kid again the moment you tasted it!”
Juliette launched her hot chocolate, and guests embraced it right away. Juliette says, “More than half of the drinking chocolate recipe is chocolate! It’s so thick a spoon stands straight up in it! My first customers couldn’t believe it—and then they were won over, and kept coming back again and again for my hot chocolate!”
Now, years later, Juliette’s famous hot chocolate is still a must-have! Juliette offers it in milk chocolate, semi-sweet dark chocolate, extra-bitter dark chocolate, and white chocolate.
And if you want to bring our drinking chocolate home and make it yourself, our mixes are here for that! We have the essentials—Milk Drinking Chocolate and Dark Drinking Chocolate—as well as hot chocolate bombs, and for a more playful hot chocolate, Hot Chocolate POPs!

Frequently Asked Questions
Are your drinking chocolates made with real chocolate?
Yes: we use Belgian couverture chocolate, not just sweetened powder.
What kind of chocolate do you use?
We use white chocolate, 33% cocoa (milk chocolate), 55% cocoa (semi-sweet dark), and up to 70% cocoa (extra-bitter dark) depending on the recipe, for a deep, lingering flavor.
Do your hot chocolate mixes contain milk?
Yes, all our hot chocolates contain milk. For a 100% dark, dairy-free hot chocolate, we recommend dark chocolate pistoles and a hot chocolate recipe from Juliette’s cookbook.
How many cups per box?
A 250 g box of standard hot chocolate mix makes 4 to 8 cups, depending on how rich you like it.
Can your chocolate be enjoyed cold?
Yes! Prepare it normally by heating, then let it cool in the fridge before serving over ice if you like. If needed, thin with a little milk to make it more fluid.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes. Our drinking chocolates travel very well!
